◉Recently, a massive fire ant infestation was discovered at Tokyo Port’s Aomi Terminal — about 18,000 fire ants, along with their eggs, larvae, and pupae, were eradicated, marking the largest such incident in Japanese history. The batch of containers had departed from Xiamen Port, China, on September 26 and arrived at Tokyo Port on September 30.
Fire ants (Solenopsis invicta) are an invasive species originally from South America. They later spread to mainland China, which has since become a large habitat for them. Now, the CCP appears intent on introducing them into Japan — a country whose small size and fragile ecosystem make it highly vulnerable. Fire ant stings can cause allergic reactions, with 1–2% of cases leading to anaphylactic shock, which can be fatal (for comparison, COVID-19’s fatality rate was about 0.2%).
Japan has classified this fire ant incident as a critical biosecurity emergency — placing it in the most dangerous category of invasive species requiring immediate response. It is being treated as an ecological event with quasi-national security implications.

◉Dr. Yan’s Commentary
This is at least a low-intensity biological warfare exercise — but it could also be part of a larger plan. There’s no way to rule out the possibility that bulk shipments could be used to transport dangerous biological agents to hidden locations for more serious actions (i.e. attacks).
A precedent can be found in the 2023 case of Chinese agent Zhu Jiabei, who ran an illegal biological laboratory in California, filled with thousands of genetically modified mice and tens of tons of dangerous pathogen samples. These fire ants could similarly have been intended for mass breeding and experimentation in some covert facility.

The CCP has established specialized zones for breeding fire ants.
This incident displays several hallmarks of CCP-style “biological unrestricted warfare”:

1. Using trade and container shipping as transmission vectors.
   Similar to how infected individuals from Wuhan boarded international flights spreading the virus worldwide — only this time, the “carrier” is cargo instead of people.
2. Pursuing ecological disruption and public panic.
   Public fear in Japan can easily spiral into political instability.
3. Using “natural accidents” as cover.
   The scale of 18,000 ants is difficult to hide, but smaller previous cases have been disguised by the CCP as mere natural incidents.
4. Exploiting deniability to impose high governance costs.
5. Achieving huge social and economic impact at minimal cost.

◉Why is this form of biological unrestricted warfare such a major threat to Japan?
Japan is an island nation with a closed and delicately balanced ecosystem. Its biodiversity exists in local equilibrium. Native Japanese ant species are generally mild and non-aggressive, but South American fire ants possess extreme aggression, rapid reproduction, and remarkable adaptability. Once established, they quickly overrun habitats and become the dominant species.
Japan’s highly urbanized environment — with dense underground infrastructure — provides ideal conditions for fire ants, which can damage facilities, chew through cables, and nest in electrical boxes. This can trigger malfunctions, short circuits, and signal errors, causing major disruptions. Because Japanese society has near-zero tolerance for accidents, such incidents could fuel national panic and public distrust — which the CCP could exploit for social manipulation.
Moreover, the CCP has allegedly sent many operatives disguised as “tourists” or “refugees” — such as Wang Zhian and Li Xiaomu — whose missions reportedly include undermining Japanese social order and public trust. These activities collectively threaten public health security and weaken confidence in Japan’s epidemic prevention capabilities.

◉For Japan, such unrestricted warfare is extremely difficult to trace or prosecute.
A Japanese contact of Dr. Yan said that even the assassination of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe remains sealed at the highest levels — investigation was explicitly forbidden by top-level orders. Hence, there is hope that the election of Sanae Takaichi and the return of Tarō Asō could finally allow a full investigation into Abe’s assassination and reveal the truth to the public.

◉This was Japan’s 165th recorded fire ant invasion.
The CCP has repeatedly tried to send fire ants to Japan. Beyond fire ants, the regime has deployed various insects and pathogens, and uses multiple ports besides Tokyo — often fragmenting shipments to avoid detection. The CCP acts without restraint or concern for consequences, making defense extremely difficult.
Genetic analysis conducted by Japanese research institutions between 2017 and 2021 found that the mitochondrial DNA of Japanese fire ants matched exactly with those from China’s coastal regions — Guangdong, Fujian, and Shanghai — and showed clear differences from those in Taiwan and Southeast Asia. The genetic tracing directly points to mainland China as the source.

◉Taiwan’s case, however, is less concerning.
Taiwan’s epidemic-prevention infrastructure is well-developed, and its mountainous terrain limits the spread of fire ants. Therefore, large-scale ecological threats are unlikely to form there.

02｜The Appearance and Spread of Fire Ants in the PRC Is Not a Natural Phenomenon — It Has Been Artificially Amplified, Studied, and Exploited
There has been deliberate human amplification and focused research into their traits for potential use.
The CCP does not strictly control native fire ant populations, yet it has conducted extensive studies.

For example, in 2005 the Institute of Zoology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) launched a “Red Fire Ant Control Project” and established a “Fire Ant Ecology and Invasion Mechanism Laboratory.” Large funding was invested to study parameters that could be useful for biological-weaponization, such as colony aggressiveness and environmental tolerance.
In provinces such as Guangxi, Fujian, and Hainan, zones have been established under the guise of monitoring ecological safety where fire ants are bred, venom is extracted, genomes are sequenced, and colonies are propagated — all presented as an important element of military–civil fusion.
Sun Yat-sen University and South China Agricultural University both maintain fire-ant control and treatment test bases, preserving colonies of different genotypes, researching their venom and pheromone regulation. The results are published in international journals — studies with titles like “Enhancing High-Temperature Survival Rates” and “Colony Adaptation Screening Trials” — essentially replicating the playbook used on COVID-19 but applied to ants.
Fire-ant venom contains many neuroactive compounds, and the CCP has carried out extensive research on these substances.

03｜Ukraine Specifically Names Beijing as a “Co-Perpetrator of Russian Aggression”

◉Ukraine’s strikes against Russia continue. They have hit parts of Russia’s civilian energy infrastructure, not necessarily to fully deprive civilians of power but to apply psychological pressure and to upgrade defensive counterstrikes into deeper deterrent effects on Russian territory.

◉Russia uses the “double-headed eagle” as its national emblem. The double-headed eagle symbolizes an extreme form of strategic play and flexible deception: one face toward Europe and one toward Asia — simultaneously pursuing imperial expansion and two-sided manipulation. Russia negotiates on one hand while plundering on the other; it makes promises while simultaneously sabotaging, right up to the final minute before any peace agreement is signed.

Ukraine has explicitly named the PRC as an accomplice, alleging that its harm extends beyond Ukraine to facilities in other states. From shadow fleets to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to satellite intelligence support, the PRC is becoming increasingly bound into the Russia–Ukraine war.
Previously, a civilian factory in Ukraine that had received U.S. investment was struck by a Russian missile — and PRC propaganda celebrated that strike. Now, the United States has a legitimate and lawful basis to pursue accountability against the PRC in the context of the Russia–Ukraine war.

Ukrainian intelligence officials have publicly stated that another evidentiary link has been added to the chain proving the PRC’s complicity in the Russia–Ukraine conflict. What the United States and its Western partners need is the chain: intelligence → sanctions → lawful counteraction. Once the U.S. and NATO formally determine, based on Ukrainian intelligence, that PRC satellites supplied battlefield data, Article 51 of the United Nations Charter — which affirms the right of self-defense — together with The Law of Armed Conflict on “countermeasures against hostile information sources,” could be invoked to activate legal mechanisms. This would provide an international-law basis for destroying the PRC’s satellite links, network infrastructure, and overseas bases.
Subsequently, the United States and Ukraine could lawfully designate PRC satellite companies, military-industrial units, and departments of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) that supported these capabilities as wartime hostile targets eligible for lawful strikes.
