01|CCP Goes Mad: Officially “Weaponizes” Rare Earths, Triggers U.S. Countermeasures.
◉ China’s Ministry of Commerce issued two consecutive notices — “Decision to Implement Export Controls on Relevant Overseas Rare Earth Items” and “Decision to Implement Export Controls on Rare Earth–Related Technologies” — effectively making the CCP’s “weaponization of rare earths” an official, public policy.
During U.S.–China trade talks it was explicitly stated that rare earths must not be weaponized. Precisely because the CCP once made promises and played submissive, the first 90-day extension was granted; then a second 90-day extension followed, and they are now in that second 90-day period.
Hidden negotiation clauses about things like fentanyl and the trade deficit — if the CCP refuses to acknowledge those, that’s one thing — but now they have openly broken faith and repudiated even the public rare-earth agreement. That suicidal recklessness is jaw-dropping. Possibly, faced with extreme multi-front pressure, the CCP has run out of options and simply snapped.
The key point is that the CCP’s restrictions are largely ineffective, because the CCP’s “weaponization of rare earths” is already known worldwide and other countries have developed substitute plans.
The CCP’s “Decision” is effectively telling the world: I not only control the global rare-earth supply chain, I will control it more tightly — including intervening in overseas extensions of rare earths and even the re-export of foreign-made products. Any item that contains more than one thousandth (0.1%) of Chinese rare-earth content will be subject to CCP export control — including items produced in the U.S., Australia, Japan, or any other country.
◉ The United States can now immediately invoke clauses in prior trade agreements, joint statements, and relevant U.S. tariff executive orders to restore tariffs and impose sanctions because the CCP has breached the deal.
As a result, all CCP-linked rare-earth companies, large and small, will likely be added to sanction/ban lists, and the U.S. and its allies may instantly roll out emergency rare-earth replacement plans.
02|UK Government Deep in a “China Appeasement” Storm.
Former MI6 chief Sir Richard Dearlove said, “China unquestionably constitutes a national security threat to the United Kingdom.”
On the Labour Party’s refusal to designate China as an “enemy,” not only has the Conservative Party attacked them, but the intelligence community has also criticized them.
Sir Richard said that under the Official Secrets Act of 1911, as long as one can prove in court that national security interests have been harmed, prosecution is justified. Such an obvious matter has been turned into a joke, and the intelligence community and Parliament are furious.
He gave examples: in 2023 the Director General of MI5 said China was conducting an ongoing, unprecedented scale of espionage against the UK; in September 2024 the head of MI6 said China, Russia, North Korea and Iran were coordinating to challenge our interests and values in many fields; the U.S. and U.K. intelligence agencies jointly identified China as the principal intelligence and geopolitical challenge of the 21st century.
He added that there is a great deal of additional evidence of the CCP threat: cyberattacks, intellectual property theft, countless identified materials, and large amounts of detailed internal intelligence. So why can’t senior MI5 officials be called to testify in court? If the government truly bows to the CCP, that would be outrageous!
The scandal over dropped prosecutions of alleged CCP spies continues to fester, suggesting the Labour Party has badly mishandled this.
The UK intelligence system’s public pressure is very rare. It sends a signal to the public: the substantive issues in this case are clear, and the problem lies at the political level — don’t pretend it’s a national security technicality and that it doesn’t concern us. It signals both domestically and to our allies that our stance toward the CCP is supposed to be firm.
03|The CCP Wants to Fold the “Super Embassy” into the Two Dropped-Spy Cases and Get Everything Resolved at Once.
Regarding the CCP’s plan to site and build a “super embassy” in London, the government has been half-accepting it, but the UK security services disagree.
Because the CCP succeeded in manipulating the “spy cases,” it is confident it can also manage the “super embassy” project.
◉ Why choose the former Royal Mint site for the “super embassy”?
One element of CCP infiltration in the UK is inseparable from the City of London’s financial status — exploiting gaps between UK and U.S. systems to launder money through the British Virgin Islands, make offshore investments, open offshore accounts, and move underground financial flows.
The Royal Mint is a historic symbol of “national monetary sovereignty.” The CCP’s deliberate purchase of this site symbolizes: I have occupied an important position in your empire’s monetary center.
This address is only a few hundred meters from the Tower of London and the Thames, “very close” to three major data centers, making it ideal for the CCP to cover telecoms, finance, transport and police information nodes. The CCP’s setup is highly similar to earlier forward deployments by the Soviet KGB.
The “super embassy” would cover nearly 57,000 square meters and house some 200 on-site staff — far beyond ordinary diplomatic needs. From an intelligence perspective it is obvious: this facility would be used to eavesdrop on the City of London’s finance, government communications, satellite links…
Centered on this embassy, one could develop a four-in-one intelligence complex of military, technology, public opinion and finance — plus diplomatic immunity — effectively creating an extraterritorial zone in the heart of London. In such a space, bribery, money-laundering, clandestine detention, and assassinations could be carried out at will. What the CCP seeks is a space and physical protection — and it must be very large to meet its needs.
04|The UK’s “Two CCP Spy Prosecutions Dropped” case is being dug into further and has reached the level of the National Security Adviser. (https://ludepress.com/featured/39316/)
Keir Starmer’s National Security Adviser, Jonathan Powell, had traveled to China three times on business trips before his appointment. In July 2025, Powell held a low-key meeting in Beijing with Wang Yi, during which he said the UK hoped to build a “stable, pragmatic and long-term partnership” with China. In September, Powell chaired a Whitehall meeting that discussed and conveyed that, in court testimony, China should not be labeled an “enemy” but should instead be referred to with terms such as a “geostrategic challenge.”
Someone like Powell, who visited China repeatedly before taking office, has effectively already been treated by the CCP as a “malleable talent” — at least as a channel for dialogue. Then he is pushed into a key Cabinet-level position in government. Once something happens — for example, this spy case breaking — the CCP can immediately choose from a large pool of “familiar faces” with whom it has already established relations to assign tasks. His role is very similar to Fauci’s role in the COVID origin tracing saga.
Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair and his pro-China connections: Guo Wengui’s purchase of the 18th-floor suite was endorsed by Blair; Wendi Deng was rumored to have had an affair with Blair and, as a result, divorced Murdoch. Jonathan Powell is a well-known, influential aide associated with Tony Blair.
05|Israel has published the official signed documents of the final agreement with Hamas. (https://ludepress.com/featured/39489/)
This fully verifies what Dr. Yan said previously on the program: there will be a time limit, and the first phase focuses on releasing hostages.
On the political level, Hamas did not want to be seen as “martyrs,” so they laid down their arms, surrendered, and asked Israel to leave them a way out; but Hamas’s armed factions utterly refuse, because the blood debts are too many — even if they surrender their weapons they will be exterminated. So there are inevitably conflicts between them. In other words, the U.S. and Israel’s tactic is to force Hamas’s official leadership to publicly declare surrender, promise to release hostages, and promise to lay down arms, thereby legally and in public opinion terms blocking all narratives in the cognitive warfare. Since Hamas has already admitted this, if you refuse to acknowledge it, then you are not Hamas — you are an “unlawful combatant,” a terrorist, and can be eliminated directly.
Hamas must ensure Israel receives all hostages and the remains of hostages; otherwise it will be in breach of contract and will suffer the “hell to pay” described by President Trump.
06|The significance of holding a roundtable discussion on Antifa
Previously, President Trump’s executive order defined Antifa as “terrorism” using the term “enterprise” — meaning a network — so it is not necessary to identify a single leader or a pyramid organizational structure to designate it; instead, the RICO Act can be used to arrest comprehensively.
This definition is important. Combined with the renaming of the Department of War , it allows the U.S. to deploy National Guard forces across the country to arrest Antifa members and, in that process, gather more evidence: their funding sources, their seditious subversion of the U.S., and the fact that they are a terrorist organization with funding flows and ideological direction dominated by foreign forces.
Yesterday’s roundtable focused on upgrading Antifa’s designation to a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO). Next comes labeling the domestic terror network plus foreign transnational terrorist organizations; the list of tools the U.S. can use then becomes very large. The renaming of the “War Department” is, for now, only a presidential executive order; some powers of the War Department remain constrained and Congress is drafting legislation. If, within 60 days of the rename, Congress also passes the legislation, then the War Department’s full offensive powers will be released — and from targeting Antifa one could trace the links back to the CCP.
